Welcome to Williams Lake
Established in 1961, Williams Lake Association for Community Living is an accredited, non-profit organization. We recognize the inherent value of each person within our community. We also understand that every individual deserves the right to make their own choices. Our goal is to create the support structure needed to ensure adults with diverse abilities have the freedom to live and work on their own terms. WLACL works to address our participant’s unique needs and helps every individual integrate with the larger community through access to employment services, residential initiatives, education opportunities, social activities, and more.

WLACL offers a wide variety of programming and support services to help individuals navigate every aspect of life. These include:

- Community employment opportunities and training
- Life skills training
- Seniors programs
Come & Visit
WLACL runs the Summit Opportunity Drop-In Centre, a meeting place designed to help individuals take advantage of social opportunities that is geared towards their unique needs and interests. At the Drop-In Centre, individuals can:
- Take classes
- Exercise
- Develop important life skills
- Socialize
The Summit Opportunity Drop-In Centre also offers a special program, Horizons, geared towards individuals 50+ with intellectual disabilities.
