Williams Lake Community Services

Our Philosophy & Goal

We recognize the inherent value of each person and supports each person in their decisions and choices in life. Our Association is committed to supporting individuals in developing independence and inclusion in our community in any aspect of their lives.

It is the underlying aim of this society to assist people in achieving their greatest level of independence. Our primary goal is community inclusion for all persons in the areas of leisure, employment, residential and education.

From providing guidance on healthy living to uncovering unique employment opportunities and sourcing living arrangements, we work to ensure every individual can contribute to and participate in the greater Willams Lake community.

Employment Assistance

Residential Services

Our goal is to assist individuals to help them achieve success in and satisfaction with community living.

Business Services

We help individuals find meaningful employment by developing employable skills and matching employers with employees.

Championing Inclusivity Since 1961

An accredited, non-profit organization established in 1960 and registered under the Societies Act. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of community members. Our funding comes from Community Living BC, and we receive donations from the community. We are a member of Inclusion BC, the CACL, and the Central Interior Community Services Co-op.

“Sometimes the greatest gift you can give another person is to simply include them”
